Chili is growing, and new housing proposals will continue to come forward. My goal is to make sure that growth is planned responsibly and works for the residents who already live here.
My priorities will be:
• Protecting attainable housing so families and longtime residents can afford to stay in Chili and put down roots here.
• Ensuring zoning laws and town codes are consistently enforced, so development happens fairly and according to the rules already in place.
• Improving transparency by posting Town Board, Planning Board, and Zoning Board meeting schedules and agendas online in a clear and accessible format and sharing them through town communication channels such as social media.
• Strengthening public input by ensuring meaningful public comment opportunities and posting outcomes on the town website so residents can see how decisions are made.
• Responsible development — I will not support increases in multi-unit residential density unless there is clear evidence that existing infrastructure can support it and that traffic impacts have been properly studied.

While the Town Supervisor does not control the School Board or state funding for early childhood education, the town does influence zoning, permits, land use, and the local environment that allows childcare and education services to grow. As Supervisor, I will:
• Advocate for state and federal grants that support schools, early childhood education, and childcare providers serving Chili families.
• Support zoning and permitting policies that make it easier for licensed childcare providers and early education centers to open and operate safely in our community.
• Explore conditional tax abatements for businesses that meet genuine family needs—such as pediatric services and licensed childcare—paired with clear job creation and service standards.

With nearly one in five residents over 65 and many families raising young children, Chili’s streets should work for everyone — not just drivers. I will:
• Publish an annual road resurfacing schedule based on clear, objective condition standards.
• Improve sidewalks, lighting, and crossings near schools, parks, and shopping areas so families, seniors, and kids can move around safely.
• Work with RTS and Monroe County to strengthen mobility options for residents who don’t drive and better connect neighborhoods with the places people go every day.
